Banu Aus : ウィキペディア英語版
Banu Aws
The Banū Aws ((アラビア語:بنو أوس)  , "Sons of Aws") or simply Aws ((アラビア語:أوس); also Romanized as Aus) was one of the main Arab tribes of Medina. The other was Khazraj, and the two, constituted the Ansar ("helpers (Muhammad )") after the Hijra.
Aws and Khazraj were known as ''Banū Qayla'' (  (:ˈbænuː ˈqɑjlæ)) in pre-Islamic era.〔
==Etymology==
The word ''al-Aws'' means "the gift", probably a contraction for ''Aws Manāt'' ((アラビア語:أوس مناة), "the gift of Manāt"). The name was changed in Islamic times to ''Aws Allāh'' ((アラビア語:أوس الله)).〔
